Sailing Around the World on the yacht ‘Henrietta’s Dream’

The family set sail to the Mediterranean, intending to continue to the Caribbean and hopefully around the world, if funds could be raised to cover the costs of carers/crew members to assist with their two lovely, but severely disable boys, Henry and Freddie, who are also on this voyage of a lifetime.

In May 2005 they had carers/crew members Martin and Eva on board, but in 2006 a new crew would be needed.

Anyone wishing to contribute to the fund to keep them on their dream journey were asked to send cheques made payable to ‘Spink Family Trust’ c/o Montgomery Swann, Scotts Sufferance Wharf, 1 Mill Street, London SE1 2DE

The voyage is intended to feature in Henrietta’s second book.

Although the family were recalled to take part in ongoing medical treatment in the States, here are two of the diary pages from Henrietta during the voyage.

At the moment (Nov 05) the yacht, Henrietta’s Dream, is moored off the coast of Tuscany while the family are in the States undergoing revolutionary new medical treatment for the boys.
